All children attend weekly art classes and participate in various activities that keep the students’ learning fun and engaged. Art is an instrument that assists a child’s academic achievement and nourishes their social and emotional development. Education through art also improves motivation, concentration, confidence, and teamwork.

My name is Heather Ames. I am your student’s Art teacher. My family and I moved from upstate New York to texas last year. I have four children! I have been in education for over five years and have been teaching Art for 2 years. I love to garden, refinishing old furniture and spend as much time as I can with my family.
